The Avon Cobra Chrome Motorcycle Tyre is the newest offering aimed at cruiser/touring/custom motorcycles featuring some of the world's most advanced tyre technology that has been developed and tested over many years. The tread compound has a new 'high dispersibility' silica formula that gives a quick warm-up and maximum grip in all weathers. This compound delivers improved stopping distance in wet braking tests. The Aramid fibres are positioned closely for high-speed stability and wear. With the shoulder sections of this tyre, the aramid fibres are widely spaced to give an increased footprint in corners and greatly increases grip.
The Cobra Chrome has a unique tyre design with detailed aesthetic features, such as the bespoke snake skin appearance on the sidewall and embossed Cobra head logo. This tyres also features Avon's latest tech pattern and advanced construction which increases the tyre footprint by 5% compared to the standard Cobra tyre. These improvements are able to offer high stability in all conditions whilst also delivering precise feels and tyre feedback.
When compared to other Avon tyres, the Cobra Chrome offers top handling and durability along with outstanding performance in dry and wet conditions.
